mine do not spin this long after shut down, but you can imagine its much more noticeable than a thrust bearing turbo. of course, i only have 1.5 L of exhaust pushing the turbine as opposed to 2.0 L. and, my turbos are farther down in the engine bay and have inlet pipes to absorb the sound. but it is still noticeable for many seconds after engine shutdown.
